U.S. data storage maker EMC Corp. (EMC.N: Quote and Profile) has agreed to buy digital security company RSA Security Inc. (RSAS.O: Quote and Profile) for just under $2.1 billion. The deal continues EMC’s strategy of using acquisitions to diversify its product portfolio into software, in the face of slowing growth in sales of data storage equipment.
